"Had a smooth visit to the Getty..."
Had a smooth visit to the Getty overall. The tram was easy and kind of fun, signs for the shuttle were fine too... I just ended up waiting longer than I thought I would. Still, it was all simple to figure out and get around.

"Parking was super easy, just definitely overpriced"
Parking was about as easy as it gets. The signs were clear, getting in and out was no problem at all, and I’m 100% sure even someone with zero sense of direction could figure it out. The only thing is the price felt a bit high for what it was. Still, no real hassle overall.

"Really good collection, definitely worth a look"
getty has a really nice collection, especially the older paintings and photos. I only meant to browse for a few minutes—well, actually, I ended up spending way more time there than I expected. Some pages felt a little slow or maybe just packed with too much info at once, but the art itself is really high quality. It’s not perfect, but if you like museums, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Stopped by for coffee and lunch, and it was great. The coffee tasted good and food was really tasty too. Nice little spot for quick bite.

"Pretty easy to use"
I hopped on getty.edu just to check the museum hours and browse the collection a bit. it was straightforward. The pages loaded quickly, I wasn’t stuck digging through a bunch of menus, and there weren’t popups getting in the way, which I always appreciate. I found what I needed fast, so yeah, for a museum site it felt simple and easy enough to..

"We ended up going here kind of randomly..."
We ended up going here kind of randomly, it was way better than I expected. Admission was free, which I still don’t totally understand because there was so much to see between the art, the views, and the gardens.

We only had to pay for parking and somehow spent half the day there without even planning to. If you’re in LA and want something low-key that doesn’t cost a ton, this is an easy win.

"Really helpful for learning about art"
I use getty.edu often when I’m trying to understand art history a little better. The articles are easy to read, the videos are easy to follow, and I usually end up clicking around longer than I planned. It’s just a really good free resource if you like learning about art stuff

"I went to the getty mostly for..."
I went to the getty mostly for the views, it delivered like it knew there was a spotlight on it. When the sky is clear, the whole city just opens up in front of you—LA, the hills, everything. It’s one of those places where you suddenly feel very calm and slightly cinematic just walking around.

The gardens and outdoor spaces were easily my favorite part, and I could’ve wandered there for way longer. I’m giving it 4 stars because parking and actually getting up there turned into a bit more of a saga than I expected, but once I was there, it was totally worth the trip

"Great visit, but planning was kind of ridiculous"
I really enjoyed visiting the getty overall. The views were beautiful and the art was definitely worth seeing. The website helped with the basics, but I still found myself getting confused about parking and timing, which felt a little ridiculous for such a popular place. There were also way too many pages to click through just to figure things out. I’d still recommend going, I just wish planning the visit was a lot simpler...

"Gorgeous place, but I got a little turned around"
I was in such a good mood when I walked in because the building is really beautiful and the design has a lot of charm. It did get a bit crowded, though, and the walkways were kind of confusing at times, which made me feel a little frazzled. Still, I enjoyed being there overall

"Cute little stop"
Popped in for a bit and ended up finding some really cute prints. The staff seemed nice too, from what I could tell. It was just a quick stop, but I liked it.

"Lovely gardens, but the paths were packed"
I visited last weekend, actually, it might’ve been the weekend before, I’m losing track, but the gardens were really pretty. Lots of nice spots to look around and take photos. The only downside was how crowded the paths were, so it wasn’t as relaxing as I expected

We had a nice visit!! The staff were really helpful and pointed us in the right direction when we couldn’t find a few things... It was a bit crowded, but nothing too bad!!! Overall, a good experience.

"The special exhibits made it worth going"
I went in not totally sure what to expect, but honestly... the rotating exhibits were really cool. Like, the kind of thing where you end up spending more time than you planned because you keep noticing little details. Definitely worth the trip for me.

"Not as Smooth as I Expected"
I was expecting the crowds to be managed a bit better, so the slow-moving lines were a little frustrating. That said, the staff did seem to be trying their best to help people and keep things moving

"Super helpful signs made the visit easy"
I visited the Getty Museum and had a really nice, stress-free time getting around. The signs from the parking area to the tram were clear, and the maps were easy to find, which made everything feel smooth. A few of the gallery signs could be a little bigger since I did get turned around once or twice, but overall it was a great experience and made the visit feel easy and enjoyable.

"Impressively clean, even on a busy day"
I visited the getty recently and was impressed by how clean everything was, especially considering how many people were there. The bathrooms I used were stocked and tidy, the floors in the main halls looked freshly maintained, and I didn’t notice random trash sitting around anywhere.
The outdoor areas were just as well cared for. The garden paths were clear, the seating areas were clean, and even the landscaping looked carefully trimmed and watered. It really feels like the staff stays on top of the little details throughout the day.
A few spots got crowded, especially near the popular views and exhibits, but the place still felt organized and easy to move through. Overall, it was a really pleasant visit and the cleanliness stood out a lot. Definitely 5 stars from me...

"Easy enough, but I got a little nervous after paying"
Booking the tickets was quick and hassle-free. I’ll admit I got a bit suspicious after the payment went through, wondering if everything would actually work, but the tickets showed up and worked fine in the end.

"A nice way to spend a first visit"
I went to the Getty Museum kind of on a whim and ended up joining one of the guided tours while I was there. It was a good way to get oriented, especially since the place can feel like a lot to take in at first. The guide was really knowledgeable but kept things relaxed, so it didn’t feel like being stuck in a classroom or anything.
I also checked out a couple of the programs, which were interesting and probably helped me appreciate the visit more than if I’d just wandered around. It did get busy in a few spots, and the tour felt a little rushed at times because of that, but overall I’m glad I did it and would still say it’s worth trying.

"Helpful for planning, better than most museum sites"
I checked out Getty Museum before my visit, mainly to figure out the accessibility details, and it was helpful. Compared to other museum websites I’ve used, the wheelchair info, parking details, and accommodations were easier to understand and not overly vague. I did have to click around a bit more than I expected because a few pages felt kind of tucked away, but overall it made planning the trip a lot less stressful. I’d give it 4 stars.
